THE LAST COUPLE OF SEASONS WERE OUR FIRST FULLY AIR-CONDITIONED SUMMERS, AND THE FEEDBACK HAS BEEN FANTASTIC! OUR TRAVELERS HAVE GIVEN RAVE REVIEWS ABOUT HOW COMFORTABLE AND REFRESHING THE SEASHORE PROGRAM IS. The Guided Tour’s Seashore Program has been proudly located in this beautiful beach home (one block from the beach!) for over 40 years. The house has been completely renovated – featuring a new roof, windows, siding, stairs, bathrooms, and most recently, a gorgeous new kitchen. It looks amazing and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy summer, at the Jersey Shore! During this vacation, travelers can unwind on the beach, collect seashells, take a dip in the ocean, or simply relax by the shore. We’ll enjoy a seaside picnic, stroll both the famous Atlantic City and Ocean City Boardwalks, and visit “Lucy the Elephant,” a beloved 125-year-old historic landmark. We’ll also savor delicious meals at local restaurants, sample tasty Boardwalk treats, dine at the Hard Rock Café, and enjoy wonderful home-cooked dinners together. Other highlights include: a visit to the charming historic town of Smithville – known for its quaint shops, peaceful rides, and old-fashioned charm. In past seasons, travelers have also enjoyed sipping cool drinks at outdoor cafés while listening to live jazz, attending concerts and movies on the beach, and taking unforgettable dolphin and whale watching cruises. For those who enjoy gaming, staff will accompany travelers who wish to visit some of the most exciting casinos and entertainment complexes along the Atlantic City Boardwalk and try a slot machine or two. Weeks begin on Mondays and end on Saturdays. Reserve your space early with a $500 deposit. There is a $250 additional charge for travelers staying consecutive weeks, and a $75 charge for those needing to extend their stay due to late travel arrangements. Please note: Transportation is not included to and from the shore on this or any of our Shore Program vacations. Don’t wait – weeks fill up quickly! The Seashore Program is a smoke-free program for your safety and health. For travelers joining us from across the United States or Canada, flights will be arranged to arrive the day before the trip. Guided Tour staff will personally meet travelers as they arrive at the airport. Please note airfare and accommodations for the night before the trip are not included in the price of this vacation.
