1. STAFF: The Guided Tour staff are paid professionals in the human services field. Many of our staff, who are social workers, therapeutic recreators, and direct care personnel, have been with our program for 15-20 years. Our staff will either provide reminders, if necessary, or dispense prepacked medications. In addition, our staff, when advised, will monitor the traveler's spending money to assure appropriate purchases and expenditures. We have a nurse on the majority of our vacations.

2. TRANSPORTATION: Transportation is provided to all destinations we serve. The exception is our seashore program, where persons travel by car, train, casino bus or plane. Our staff is waiting to meet travelers at their arrival point. The Guided Tour has two types of vacations - trips by van or by air. Our van trips originate in Philadelphia and we pick up travelers en route to our destination. The prices of flights are based on departure and return from Philadelphia. Our travelers come from all over the United States (as well as other countries) and prices are adjusted based on the cost differential (if any) between departing from Philadelphia and whatever city from which the traveler is departing.

3. TRIPS: For trips including flights, the trip includes travel from the nearest major airport, accommodations, all breakfasts and dinners, admissions to attractions, all ground transportation and supervision. Spending money will be needed for lunches (lunches are sometimes included, please note trip description), souvenirs, and personal items. Whenever possible, receipts will be requested for the out-of-pocket expenses. The Guided Tour does not accept family members of travelers on our trips, feeling that this inclusion would defeat the very premise on which our program has been based since our beginning in 1972. 4. MEALS: All breakfasts and dinners are provided by The Guided Tour. Lunches, souvenirs and in-between meal snacks are the responsibility of the traveler. However, some trips do include lunch.

5. LODGING: All lodging for the duration of the vacation is provided by The Guided Tour, Inc.
